Slack looks like more expanded IRC.

I haven't been able to make it an exporting tool like Blender would like it, but it should be good enough. For now.
"A messaging app for teams who put robots on Mars" - Looks like a perfect tool for Colonizing with Bots...
I almost completed a working prototype of exporting script to text model file version 2
The only (somewhat) working way of Dev-Dev communication are programming languages. Other forms fail one way or another.
Without forcing any Dev<->Dev communication tool there's no other way. Maybe we should try that new GitHub's trello thingie?
Beisdes that, reddit is good for Player-Player and Dev-Player interactions, not so much for Dev-Dev
I could probably get used to it, but people don't like to use new things (take Trello for example) unless they have no choice (take PPC->ICC for example).
@radioactivity are you subtly suggesting that we should use the subreddit instead of the forum?
Actually with right use of some of the tools and original Colobot design rules we could achieve really interesting and original style of the graphics without high requirements. But there's a lot of implementation problems at the current stage of the engine. Without proper optimizations every postprocessing effect will add a lot framedrops. Even shadow mapping slows the game now a lot - and it looks a little bit too unnatural and buggy at the current stage.
@radioactivity : So we should just remove forum and move all our butts to reddit to prevent spam on forum? Or just use both of those solutions and handling spam on both of them?
Oh, @Simbax and @RaptorParkowsky , reddit is also much, much better at handling spam and bad ideas
For CGI purposes it might be good tool, but for this game it's just too much.
That's why I don't want to use MakeHuman. It's difficult to make similar model, and finished model would have more triangles than rest of body parts together.
