COLOBOT - Original
#1
Where do I download the original version 1.8 of COLOBOT, or how to I stop the "The language if not the same as the installed software" message when installing 1.8 patch on my existing download?

I know it's somewhere on our legacy download page but I can't find it now... http://colobot.info/download/ @RaptorParkowsky help! Tongue
To allow installing patch onto a different language, you'll have to change entry somewhere in Windows registry. I don't remember where exactly, use the find function. It's been years since I installed the original game. Keep in mind this will mix both languages (patched files will be in patch language).

@krzys_h : You can not find this with my filenames? How this is even possible? D:

This is a little expanded, no-install, "portable" version of Colobot 1.8-EN (1.3-EN patched to 1.8-EN as long as I remember + our launcher to run this game with -nocd command). Expanded means there's some more files from our received source like prototypes of missions available when "debugmode" cheat is active or famous editor for models built in-game.

Original, untouched Colobot with original setup ar on hold now, as I must find some free time to research all possible versions of it.

Original 1.8 patch setups for retail version of the game are available here:

Or on original EPSITEC games website:

PS: @Emxx52 also proposes his setup with Colobot 1.8-EN:

@RaptorParkowsky oh, "Expanded Edition" broke the chronological ordering of everything else, that's why I didn't see it.

Find what? And change entry to what?
