Current shadow mapping implementation doesn't support dirt textures at all, because of CDevice class design. This will be fixed in the future release. For now, you need to decide whether you prefer to have shadow mapping enabled or working dirt texture.
The trailer itself is recorded in OpenGL 1.X engine, others are still highly experimental and you can't turn them on through the game UI.
