On my laptop I got tons of wallpapers set on a slideshow, mostly nature and HDR photos of sunsets etc., though that one is one of my favorites (I even got this one as my lock screen background). I used to use fancy rainemters and stuff. I use Foobar and AIMP for music. when working I do stuff in Unity (several mobile apps), MATLAB, CATIA, Audacity VisualStudio, Notepad++ and some other programs, though I can't say it is TYPICAL LOAD for my computer. When I work I usually plug in my second monitor. I also have Win 8 and Ubuntu on a virtual machine, I use Win 8 when I run multiple AutoHotkey Scripts and need several mouse cursors and keyboards.
Games: Currently Playing in local coop mostly with gf/friends (2-4 gamepads + xbox controller emulator): Divinity Original Sin, Rayman Legends, Portal 2, share screen Quake 3 spearmint, Blur. Solo playing mostly Rimworld and Pokemon TCGO (I do play with friends online and IRL!). I'm active on reddit. I also got another laptop from work that is a business one, and I use it at work mostly, though it has similiar setup as my laptop.

I recently restarted the computer, I usually have much more stuff open. Also, over 80 wallpapers - this one's Stupid Fox, but I also got some vocaloid, anime, western animation, and webcomics wallpapers... and fox photos.
Also, too many files on the desktop. You can see I sorted some because there's a hole in the middle. But I need to check those logs to see which ones are correctly exported data and whether they are useful. Also, fox photo x3 - one of my wallpapers I used to test a uni project.

As I said, I recently restarted the computer, so there's not much open. But sometimes I have up to 3 programming environments opened, sometimes a VM, like 3 or 4 explorer windows... Sometimes Steam window, although I don't really play much... And usually Notepad++ with 7 or so files open because I don't feel like saving/deleting/closing them. :')

Decided to refresh the look & feel of my main computer for work/uni related stuff a while ago. Sharing it now because it still fills me with determination whenever I open the lid of my laptop.

If someone's interested, here are the technical details: the OS is Antergos, DE is Cinnamon (Numix icons and Numix Transparent theme). The font used in the terminal is Monaco (which I also use in code/text editors), the terminal itself is Sakura.
